Sean Attwood

A serial entrepreneur with a wealth of practical, outside-of-the-business-book experience

Sean was born in Toronto, grew up in New Jersey and has called London home since 2001. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics MSc Management programme and, after continuing in sales at the Financial Times, co-founded Yumchaa Teas in 2005.

Over a 12 year period Sean helped to grow Yumchaa from a single market stall to a multichannel retail and hospitality company with over 50 employees and an annual turnover of £1.5million.

He has extensive specific experience in retail, wholesale and hospitality including product development, operations, sales and change management.  His role was basically making things happen on time and on budget.

As a founder who exited shortly after IPO in 2016, he has more general and pragmatic experience in finding and selecting investors, Board creation and management, and fundraising of both equity and company bonds.

Since 2017 Sean has been consulting and advising start-ups. He is a serial entrepreneur with a wealth of practical, outside-of-the-business-book experience in starting and growing a company including business planning, generating and growing sales channels, and the mental game of being a founder. Additionally, Sean is a Master Coach for Mind Gym PLC, training teams in some of the largest companies around the world.
