Join us here for an exclusive Fireside Chat with Shachar Bialick the CEO of Curve.
You’ll get an inspirational insight into the journey of Curve, from the difficulties of founding a startup to the different challenges of scaling a business, gaining backing and life in Fintech.
Curve was founded out of London last year by Shachar Bialick, an Israeli entrepreneur with a number of exits under his belt from prior startups. The company raised a $2 million seed round back in December from a number of notable angel investors, including Betfair cofounder Ed Wray and TransferWise cofounder Taavet Hinrikus.
Curve offers the ability to connect up your existing bank cards into one card via your smartphone, unlocking benefits to supercharge them; tracking your transactions in real time, cutting their existing FX fees to super low rates plus more - all with the aim of bringing value and saving time and money for the end user.
“This will put the user back at the centre, connecting them with their unique ‘Everything Money’, without the need for them to radically change their behaviour or providers” says Bialick. “We believe that smartphones have the potential to provide the infrastructure for that platform”.
Shachar’s Fireside Chat will focus on startups gaining a first-hand understanding of the challenges and learnings faced when starting a business up.
